Well signposted from the A5, Oakmere is reached up a tarmac drive with ample parking and an unloading area right outside the front door.
Access into the entrance hall is via the front door (1030 mm wide) and there are three 150 mm steps to the front door.

All accommodation is either on the first or second floors with access via wide stairs leading from the entrance hall. There is a continuous handrail to one side of the stairs and each flight turns once from a small mezzanine landing. There are no lift facilities to the rooms.
