Oakmere is a large, faithfully restored Victorian Country House set back from the road in its own grounds; just a few minutes walk from Llangollen's town centre, shops and restaurants.
Our terraced gardens offer magnificent views across Llangollen and the valley to Castle Dinas Bran and the mountains beyond.  

Oakmere has recently received a Highly Commended Award for 4 Star Guest Accommodation from the AA.

Inside Oakmere the original Victorian splendour is reflected in the polished pitch pine and period furniture, all of which combine to produce a relaxing atmosphere of spacious comfort.
The private drive to Oakmere is well signposted and there is ample parking within the grounds.

At the front of the house there is ample private parking for Oakmere residents.

Looking towards the Horseshoe Pass from Bedroom 6. The dome of Llangollen's Royal International Pavilion (home of the International Eisteddfod) can be seen behind the bell tower of St Collen Church.
